ComposerScout is live, and the site got some game feel

ComposerScout is live at composerscout.com as a free beta. Drop in a gameplay clip and hear composer music play over it, browse composer portfolios, and when something clicks, message the person who made it. There are no published composers yet, so the first job is finding a handful of founding composers. If you write music for games, the profile is free.

Today was a feedback day. Sign-in kept dropping on Safari, so it now runs through composerscout.com itself. Setup became a short step-by-step guide, there's a dark theme, and the gameplay studio got a sound browser with search plus scene, mood and genre filters. Eight original loops are free to try while the composer library fills up.

PlayScout got a Safari pass and a few game touches: hidden achievements, a cheat code, and pixel icons drifting behind the search box. This site now lists ComposerScout and picked up the same kind of touches. Try the code.

Next: founding composers for ComposerScout, and PlayScout in front of more devs before Steam Next Fest starts on the 19th.
