ComposerScout's best signup day yet, and a glow-up to match
Busy one today.
ComposerScout had its best signup day yet: 10 new accounts today, and we're up to 27.
Welcome in, everyone! There's a new Announcements tab where I'll post updates and spotlight members, and you can like and reply. Like or reply to the very first post within 12 hours and you get the Front Row badge 👀. The inbox got some love too: reactions, GIFs, editing and deleting your messages, and an unread dot so you know when someone wrote back. Profiles now pick up the colors from your banner, and there are new hire pages so devs can find composers, sound designers and voice actors by genre right from Google.
I also sent members a quick survey about bringing artists on board and maybe a new name, since this is growing past just music. Shoutout to Peri, who found a bug in the survey before anyone else did and got a one-of-a-kind Sound Guardian badge for it. Artists are next, and I want them to get the same tools the audio side has before it opens up.
PlayScout also went through a review with Google for the YouTube API, so the privacy page got clearer and the CSV keeps channel links instead of names and emails. All the details still live on your list in the app.
And maevyra.com links to my itch.io page now. PlayScout and ComposerScout both have pages there, so come say hi.
On the outreach side I sent 26 messages to devs and creators before Steam Next Fest kicks off Monday. Let's go.
